What's my size in kids' shoes?

Picture
Nike Free Run 2.0--Big Kids, $69.99

Question:
Dear Fashion Feline,
My family has become a "Nike Free" family--my sons and my husband all wear them. They're super light weight and prettier than most tennis shoes. I'd like to get some too, just for play times, but they cost too much. I know kids' sizes are less expensive and would probably fit me, but how do I figure out my size? --Brenda

Answer:
You're so right, Brenda! Kids' shoes cost so much less, and they're the same style as adults'. Boys have big feet--bigger than many women's--and some of their shoes even come in purple. Too bad they don't make 'em in kitty sizes. Anyway, whatever your size in women's shoes, just subtract between 1 and 2 sizes, and there's your size in boys. For instance, if you wear a women's size 8, you probably wear about a boys' size 6 or 6 and a half. You can also size your feet on the kids' sizer in the shoe department at any store.
