Luckily I have a red belt. All I need now are the cords and the shirt. :-)
I am obsessed with this outfit from Victoria's Secret. I love how they've combined winter white, pale pink, and red. Luckily I have a red belt. All I need now are the cords and the shirt. :-)

Why do we always lose the things we like best? Why can't we lose just the ones we don't care so much about? Realized over the weekend that I'd lost this necklace, last seen in this photo. I wore it all summer; it was the only necklace I took on a trip across country since I was afraid of losing jewelry--lol. I loved it partially just for for its fine black ball chain. What dear item have you lost lately? More stories of lost clothing and jewelry from our readers here.Threadless.com has a pretty cool system. Anyone can submit a design to them, which is then voted on by other users in the community. The highest scored designs are made into t-shirts! Founder and CSO Jake Nickell devised this way to give back to the community by creating products featuring the work of participating artists. What are you going to be for Halloween?
Here's a little to-do list to get everything in top shape for the season:
1. Shine your shoes. Buy shoe polish and water repellent. Polish your leather shoes and boots and spray them down, especially the suede. Or indulge in a shoe shine by a professional--you can drop off all your shoes and boots at one time and pick them up later. 2. Tighten your belt. Open up your fashion options with belts. Try a skinny belt or two cinched at the waist over a dress, pullover, cardigan, or jacket. Or belt a thicker one over a tunic. Either way, if your belts don't have enough holes to cinch at the waist, have a shoe repair shop punch an extra hole or two in them (costs about $1). 3. Mend the holes. Look over all your favorite sweaters for holes. You don't have to throw away or donate sweaters with moth holes. If you're handy, sew up the holes yourself, or most drycleaners will fix small holes for next to nothing. 4. Shave and a hair cut. Use a sweater shaver or sweater stone to remove piling and balling from your sweaters and knits. Good as new! Bring on the cold! Saks Fifth Avenue will donate 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this t-shirt to the Key To The Cure campaign to fight women's cancers. The tee was designed by Carolina Herrera exclusively for Saks.
