Do you remember the episode of Friends when Monica and Rachel give Phoebe a pair of leather pants when she's pregnant with twins? Well, you may feel like you need a pair of leather-like leggings almost as much as Phoebe did then.

But sometimes you want to look a little tough, a little edgy.

If you want to give 'em a try with low commitment, you may want to know the lowest priced options out there. Most of the leggings are not leather but leather-like, cruelty-free.

Please help--and fast! I have an interview next week, and I need a long suit jacket. I have checked at Macy's, Nordstrom's, Nordstrom Rack, and T.J. Maxx to no avail. Are these hopelessly out of style? I HATE the skirt and suit jacket combo in short suit jackets. Where could I find a long suit coat? Mid thigh.... xoxo --Juliet

I agree wholeheartedly: a standard suit jacket can be unflattering, masculine, and dead boring.
A long jacket is so much more elegant. Plenty of stores carry long suit jackets. Here are a few options....

Peplum is a flounce of folds decorating the waist of a skirt or the bottom of a jacket or top. Over the past year, princesses and celebrities have donned this elegant style that harkens back to the 1940s. Anthropologie, ASOS, H&M, and others have embraced peplum and updated it for everyday wear.
I like the tailored cut of peplum. Paired with nice pants or a pencil skirt, a peplum top might make a great alternative to a jacket in a professional work outfit. Peplum is also touted for hiding figure flaws since it accentuates a high waistline and creates the illusion of an hourglass figure.
