I like the tailored cut of peplum. Paired with nice pants or a pencil skirt, a peplum top might make a great alternative to a jacket in a professional work outfit. Peplum is also touted for hiding figure flaws since it accentuates a high waistline and creates the illusion of an hourglass figure.
