I lost these glasses in the ocean off the Delaware coast. My son, who was then only about 4, was in my arms, & the undertow pulled me down, & I managed to keep him above water but lost my balance & my glasses into that strong surf, never to be found again.
These glasses were special to me because I'd picked them out by myself. I'd almost gone with a smaller, more feminine pair, but at the last minute I'd chosen the big, black frames. After this loss, I bought glasses with light pink frames, which I also later lost.
