Oddly, I've had two wardrobe malfunctions lately, & I'm poised for a third (not that I believe by any means that things happen in threes).
Both incidents make me laugh, & the second one worked out well in the end....
The Second Malfunction
Well, about midday I stood up & suddenly realized there was a huge tear all the way up my back! Luckily the dress had a black lining. My cardigan also covered the worst patch of it, so I just continued on, tried to stay seated, & I don't think anyone noticed. If I hadn't had the cardigan, I probably would have gone home to change. | I wrote to Piperlime I wrote to Piperlime & told them the story, & even though I'd purchased the dress Final Sale, they sent me a credit I could use at Piperlime, GAP, Old Navy, or Banana Republic! I could assume both incidents happened because of my perpetually expanding girth. Or I could blame poor quality goods.
I choose to blame the second reason! For now, I'll be waiting for my next hem to fall, seams to tear, straps to break, & I'll just hope I have some emergency back-up plan!
