Your husband asks good questions! I think with a lot of fashion - some people can pull it off and some people can't. My 11-year-old daughter is one of those people who can wear anything and look great. Evidently it skips a generation :-) xo

What a fun surprise to find your comment here, Sarita! Thank you so much for visiting this post! I know that you could pull off any look that you like just like your daughter. I like the idea that we could use our striped tops for more uses than we'd imagined. Not sure about a few of the combos, but I really love the stripes with the blue-patterned J. Crew Factory skirt above, & I'll be striving to recreate that look (edited comment :-).

i tend to lean towards the idea that not all patterns are equal when it comes to stripes. :)
