Lost Forever:
Ericka Cookston's lost embellished black top, worn in school photo
My junior year in high school was the worst. The funny part? That was the year I had my favorite school photo taken. I was wearing a beautiful black top accented with lace and buttons. I wonder if I will ever find another shirt that fit me so perfectly. One week I threw it into the laundry room to be washed--my dryer must have had a little snack because it was never seen again. My mother was upset about this as well because she often liked to borrow the shirt from me. We both looked everywhere for the shirt, and I maintain today that my cousin took it (even though I have no evidence). At least I will always have the memory of my once favorite shirt with my favorite school photo. --Erica Cookston
