Well, my birthday fast approaches. My husband & I will be heading to an old favorite restaurant that evening: Cafe Brazil. I thought, well, it'd be fun to wear a new dress for this occasion, & I picked out three possibilities. Alas, my favorite of the three has not gone down in price a whit. But I ordered the other two when they got reduced to around $20 each.

I like the red, & I like the material of both dresses since they fold down to nothing & can't wrinkle--gotta love that polyester!--so they're good for travel. I can't return the red dress, but that just makes me more motivated to wear it.
I didn't buy the more expensive third dress (the black dress below), but maybe it'll eventually go on sale :-)
So I got two dresses for half the price of one. Did I make the right choice?
